1989 Tour Australia Nov/Dec 2015

On Tuesday 2nd December 2014, It was announced that Taylor was returning to Australia in November and December 2015 with The 1989 World Tour.

The dates are:
Saturday November 28th - ANZ Stadium, Sydney
Saturday December 5th - Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Monday December 7th - Entertainment Center, Adelaide
Friday December 11th - AAMI Stadium, Melbourne

UPDATE: A 2ND MELBOURNE SHOW WAS ANNOUNCED FOR DEC 12TH 2015
A 2nd Melbourne concert was announced for Dec 12th after the first show sold out in under an hour this morning (Dec 12th) when tickets to general public went on sale.

UPDATE: A 2ND ADELAIDE SHOW WAS ANNOUNCED FOR DEC 8TH 2015
Due to demand, Adelaide also has had a 2nd show added to the tour

This tour brings yet another milestone and record for Taylor. When she returns she will be the first person ever to headline back to back stadium tours of Australia after her headlining tour of stadiums across Australia in 2103 for her sold out RED Tour, in which she became the first artist in 20 years to do a stadium tour after Madonna in 1993.

Notably, Taylor has chosen the biggest stadium while also the smallest stadium. In 2013, Taylor performed at Sydney's Allianz Stadium but for 1989 is opting to go bigger with ANZ Stadium which was build for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. While in Melbourne, Taylor played at Eithad Stadium in 2013 but has settled for the smaller venue of AAMI Stadium instead. I feel that Eithad has probably been booked for another event not announced yet or is allowing Taylor to possibly move venues if AAMI sells out.

No doubt, all shows will sell out just like they did in 2013.
American Express and TS.Com Presale started today (Dec 4th) and run until Dec 7th.
Frontier Touring Presale starts on Dec 9th at staggered times depending on your city so check carefully what time your presale starts.

General sales start Dec 12th, check Ticketek Aus for more details.

I'm going to the Sydney concert in Section 111
Will I see you there?
