Taylor started out the night by being spotted leaving her apartment on Dec 31st all dressed up warm with red/white beanie on making her look christmasy to me. Taylor's best friend Abigail was first spotted in Times Square along with Taylor before her performance so they had a great night together.

Taylor started her performance around 11:38pm in Times Square wearing long black pants with a silver glittery strip down them and a matching crop top and silver over jacket. Taylor started out with her song Welcome To New York which is most appropriate for the occasion and then proceeded to take off her silver jacket and performed Shake It Off ending just 15 mins before midnight at 11:45pm. As Taylor was leaving the stage, she slipped slightly on the stairs as shown in the vine below.

As the countdown to the last minute of 2014 started, Taylor joined Ryan Seacrest, Magic the band and Florida Georgia Line on the main stage to start the countdown. Taylor was still in her performance clothes and so Ryan gave her his coat to keep warm in the freezing New York winter. As midnight hit Taylor was dancing around happily like a young kid and you could see that she was very happy which is all we ask for. Ryan also kissed Taylor on the hand at midnight.
