So, It looks like Taylor got 2015 off to a flying start which made everyone jealous and also happy.
A few days into the New Year and Taylor was spotted leaving her NYC apartment heading to who knows where. It was later discovered from someone's tweet that Taylor had been spotted in the Cayman Islands Airport.
Hopefully Taylor had an amazing vacation, no photographs came out while she was there so obviously the paps are lacking on the Cayman Islands and I'm glad they are and she was able to get some privacy. Some people on the main island did spot her apparently but security was strict so no photos came out of it.
Taylor later posted the photo above with the caption "Clear Blue Water". A reference to her song Clean and the stunning colour of the water. While the selfie is perfect, warnings also came out from swifties about her dislike for sea urchins as a reminder.
The Peoples Choice awards were held in LA on Jan 8th and although Taylor was not in attendance, instead still believed to be in the Cayman Islands, she was still awarded all 3 of the awards she was nominated for. Favourite Female, Favourite Pop Artist and Favourite Song (Shake It Off).
Congrats Taylor on the first awards of what hopefully is many more to come in 2015
